Loan Boxes

We have a  collection of fourteen loan boxes which your school can borrow to use in your classroom to support your delivery of the national curriculum in an exciting and hands-on-way.

Object handling allows pupils to use all their senses, such as touch, sight and smell, often leading to a more memorable experience.

Each box is themed according to the contents. The boxes/topics available are:

In the case of the farming and railway boxes there are additional large items that accompany the box and others can be available on request. 

We also have some larger plastic loan boxes and they cover history from prehistory to the 20th century with emphasis on March. They contain some original and many reproduction artefacts from Roman, Tudor and Victorian eras.

Charges

These resources will be free of charge to schools in and around March. There may be a nominal charge to schools outside of our local area.
