March and District Museum is situated in the town of March, Cambridgeshire, 33 miles north of Cambridge and 20 miles east of Peterborough. If you are travelling by train, the Museum is just over 1 mile from the railway station.

There is limited parking behind the Museum, but free parking is available at City Road Car Park, which is only a few minutes’ walk away.

If you’re using a sat nav to find us, our postcode is PE15 9JJ.

Where to eat: The museum does not have a café, but there are a number of independent cafés, pubs and restaurants nearby. Please ask the front desk for details.

Wheelchair Access: The Museum is wheelchair accessible. At the front of the building, on the right hand side, there is ramped access to the Museum.

We also have a manual wheelchair available for use by visitors.

Assistance dogs: Guide dogs, hearing dogs and assistance dogs are welcome throughout the Museum.

Toilet:  Our toilet is on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible.

Group visits: Contact us if your club or group would like to visit out of hours. We do not charge for visits from local schools or youth organisations e.g. Scouts, Guides, Beavers etc. though of course we will accept donations.
