March and District Museum
Group Visits
Under normal circumstances we do not recommend that groups or parties visit the Museum during normal opening times.
Providing that at least 14 days notice is given, the Museum can be opened for special visits at any reasonable hour, either during the day or the evening.
School are asked to organise their visits so that any single group of up to 32 can be split down into three groups of about 8 to 12 children. It has been found that more than this cannot be accommodated due to the restricted space in certain areas of the Museum. See below for full risk assessments.
The organiser of any group visit is requested to complete the attached form and send it, by post or fax, to the Museum including as much detail as possible about the visit. Charges are based on a minimum donation of £1 per person and will be confirmed when a booking is accepted, cheques should be made payable to ‘March & District Museum Society’.
